The Links above take you through some notes I wrote in 2002 while I was studying a Unit in Information and Communication Technology at Curtin University. The notes include links to articles on the Web which are worth reading. The notes represent my own experience but are mainly coloured by the teaching and learning theory that was prevalent in Australia in the early 2000's.
The notes
are a mixture of ideas in educational theory and practice as they apply to teachers
and students on the journey towards a learning style that works with and uses
Information Technology authentically.
The ICT journey is an exploration for both student and teacher with the uncertainty,
risks and reverses that explorers have always experienced. There is at times
the excitement of achievement, the discoveries on the way, and the ultimate
joy of achieving an aim of the exploration.
